Pears are a new subject for me, and I liked painting these two so much that I might follow it up with a few more fruits! The style is impressionistic, with an impasto like texture created with overlaying brush strokes..
A coat of spray varnish helps to enhance the colors and protects the surface from atmospheric elements and UV rays.
The artwork extends to the sides, saving you the trouble to frame, if you are not keen. It will come ready to hang, with hanging fixture attached.
